So you wanna be a Valiantette?

Welcome to the world of Vince Vance & the Valiants. Thank you for your interest in joining our organization! If you make the band it will be a special part of your life forever. Prior to filling out an application, however, here is some information that may help you decide if we are right for you.

We are a successful band that performs 150 concerts a year, year in and year out. That means that there is a lot of travel involved. We look forward to going out on the road, but it’s a serious commitment. Several of us have children; the children only get to see us in town. We don’t recommend this job if you are a young mother. We do not hire single mothers with custody.

We have two bona fide number one hit songs to our credit which members composed: “Bomb Iran ” and “All I want for Christmas is You.” We have currently 3 recording contracts on 3 different albums and have recorded 16 singles and 8 albums. This means that we are serious artists, dedicated to trying to be successful in the music industry. We expect you to be serious.

We are a show band. The band part is singing and playing instruments. The show part is acting, make-up, choreography and costumes (wearing, creating and making changes in the show). You’re responsible for the care of your costumes.

We have performed many important jobs: the White House ('94 & '95), the Super Dome, the Waldorf-Astoria, the biggest corporate shows, Burger King, IBM, KFC, ReMax, Sanyo, Toyota, etc. This means that you have to comport yourself with respect and realize that at all times you represent an organization that makes its living by having more gigs. We do not allow drug addicts or alcoholics in the band.

We are looking for someone more than a singer or a dancer. We are looking for a member of our band who will be part of a team. We are looking for someone who truly wants to make it and is willing to work at her craft and make the personal sacrifices necessary to have that dream become a reality.
