Dear Friends:
Hurricane Katrina has caused devastation of Biblical proportions along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and New Orleans area. One of the region's most popular performers, Vince Vance, found his home and business office for Vince Vance and the Valiants decimated down to the concrete slab. His home in Waveland, dubbed by the national news media as Ground Zero, was hit while Vince was on his way back from shows out of the area. He never made it back to get any clothes, personal items, or office equipment.
Many fans and friends (with Vince they are one in the same) have e-mailed or called to offer financial assistance to this great entertainer who has helped countless others with benefits over the years. So a group of friends are starting a fund for those wonderful, concerned fans to help Vince get back on his feet so he can once again bring his music, joy, and laughter to fans all over the country. Vince does need your help, but he would never ask for it himself.
Vince, like many others, is homeless and in need of financial assistance to get through the months ahead. Almost half of his upcoming concerts were canceled as a result of Katrina's fury. But true to form, Vince has already begun visiting those affected by this storm, and is planning a number of benefits and appearances as he gets back on his own feet.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated by this great man who has dedicated his career to bringing joy to the lives of others. Checks should be made out to Vince Vance and sent to:

Thank you for your generosity and please pray for all the victims of this ruthless disaster.
If you or someone you care about are a victim of Hurricane Katrina, please let us know. Vince is very concerned about his friends and fans who may have suffered from Katrina's devastation and wants to help you, too, if he can.
Please check this website for updates on Vince's situation as they become available.
Thank you for your concern and support.
